For the imagined staging of Shakespeare’s Hamlet the environment uses physical and atmospheric elements sparingly. Lighting conveys mood and creates physical edges to the scenes. The staging allows the language and performances to carry the stage.

At least as inspiration, “brevity is the soul of wit.”
